I provide care and a listening ear to patients of all ages struggling with mental health problems. I am qualified to diagnose mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, borderline, ADHD, eating disorders, and many others while prescribing treatment, which may include medication. You and I will develop a treatment plan in collaboration with the rest of your treatment team.
I want all of our sessions to focus on honest communication so that we can adjust treatment according to your progress and changing needs. I believe that we are all connected as human beings, and I enjoy finding common ground so that we can tackle problems with understanding and mutual respect.
A Little About Me
I enjoy singing and have studied voice for many years. I occasionally sing with a cover band, and we perform at wedding receptions, private parties, and in Atlantic City. I like spending time with my family at their home in rural Pennsylvania and relaxing with my cat, Foxy.
A few Fun Facts
I earned my associate’s degree in nursing from Community College of Philadelphia, followed by a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University. While in nursing school, I worked as a patient care technician in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit and fell in love with psychiatry. This was the job that catapulted me into caring for people and striving to find the best solution for improving their lives. My nursing career led me from the ICU to hospice and ultimately to an inpatient psychiatry unit, where I settled into the specialty I love.
I completed my master’s degree in nursing at La Salle University and accepted a position in the Advanced Practice Nurse Residency Program at the Center for Family Guidance in Marlton, NJ. In this role, I acted as a consult liaison in New Jersey Hospitals and eventually became the prescriber for an adolescent residential program in Camden, at the highest level of psychiatric care for kids in NJ.
When we speak on the phone, we want to take the time to answer any questions you have about therapy with us. During our initial chat, we will go over policies and fees for the type and length of the sessions that fit you best.
We want you to make the most informed decision about your therapy journey.
Remember…
We invest our time, money, and energy into so many things each week: salon visits, gym memberships, personal training, dining out, and new stuff. Most people invest on visible and tangible things but neglect essentials they (and others) can’t see.
Ask yourself – are you doing everything you should be for your mental health?
We provide private therapy and counseling in our Doylestown, PA offices or secure telehealth sessions for clients who wish to stay home, avoid commuting, or even just save time.
