I am so glad you’re here and reaching out for help. During the last eight years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including a Community Mental Health Center for low-income individuals, a College Counseling Center, a Psychiatric Hospital, two different private practices, a Residential Treatment Facility for adolescents, and an Outpatient facility that provided therapeutic services for adults and adolescents involved in the legal system for behavioral problems.
Most recently, I opened Ally Psychological Services to help fill a gap in my community: a younger male psychologist. My practice welcomes clients from all walks of life, and I take pride in treating every client with respect, dignity, and integrity regardless of their past.
Whether I am weight lifting, taking a hot yoga class, hiking, or kayaking, I am always looking to do something to stay healthy and active. But life is all about balance; as active as I like to be I also love eating a disturbing amount of popcorn or gummy bears while I binge watch shows on Netflix.
My family, friends, and clients will also all attest that I love good puns, super lame jokes, and random fun facts. So, in the spirit of fun facts and getting to know each other, here are some fun facts about me:
I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey, a small liberal arts school in Mahwah, New Jersey. After college, I earned my Master’s degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University, in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
I completed my doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Edison Court and Ravenhill, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. While I was there, I worked with adolescent and adult Sexual Offenders as well as juveniles in the legal system and parents involved with Children and Youth Services. Once I became a Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania, I left my position to open Ally Psychological Services, my private practice.
When we speak on the phone, we want to take the time to answer any questions you have about therapy with us. During our initial chat, we will go over policies and fees for the type and length of the sessions that fit you best.
We want you to make the most informed decision about your therapy journey.
Remember…
We invest our time, money, and energy into so many things each week: salon visits, gym memberships, personal training, dining out, and new stuff. Most people invest on visible and tangible things but neglect essentials they (and others) can’t see.
Ask yourself – are you doing everything you should be for your mental health?
We provide private therapy and counseling in our Doylestown, PA offices or secure telehealth sessions for clients who wish to stay home, avoid commuting, or even just save time.
