Brittany Nicoline, MA, LPC, CAADC

Greetings! My name is Brittany Nicoline and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor at Ally Psychological Services. Over the past 8 years I have spent time working in inpatient and outpatient levels of care as well as in elementary schools. I am very excited to bring my skills to Ally Psych to help you achieve your goals!

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based practices. I am also trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and incorporate a holistic approach to therapy. I have experience working with kids, teens, adults, families, and running groups. Whether you’re starting therapy for yourself, your child, or a family member, I am here to help with any number of concerns. As we work together, you’ll notice that I always strive to be genuine and empathetic while I help you accomplish your goals through skills that are proven to work and are realistic for your life. You’ll also find that I am constantly providing compassion, respect, and humor in our sessions. Beyond all else, I want to earn your trust so that you don’t have to take this journey alone. It’s my privilege to work with you to encourage self-exploration, recovery, and growth. As one of my favorite author’s Glennon Doyle, would say, “We can do hard things.”

I love playing soccer, going for runs on the beach, and spending time in the gym lifting or boxing.

A Few Fun Facts

Education and Training

I attended Moravian College where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and History. After college, I attended Immaculata University where I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While attending the graduate program at Immaculata, I worked as a personal care assistant, working with children in Elementary school needing emotional support. In grad school I also had an internship with Human Services working with children, teenagers, and adults in individual therapy. After graduation, I worked as a behavioral health therapist at two dual diagnosis inpatient facilities (Keystone Center and Mirmont Treatment Center) where I provided individual and family therapy, as well as facilitated group therapy. I am very excited to further my career here working with you!

Let's Connect!

When we speak on the phone, we want to take the time to answer any questions you have about therapy with us. During our initial chat, we will go over policies and fees for the type and length of the sessions that fit you best.

We want you to make the most informed decision about your therapy journey.

Remember…

We invest our time, money, and energy into so many things each week: salon visits, gym memberships, personal training, dining out, and new stuff. Most people invest on visible and tangible things but neglect essentials they (and others) can’t see.

Ask yourself – are you doing everything you should be for your mental health?
