I specialize in working with clients across various life stages, recognizing that everyone embarks on a unique journey with distinct strengths and challenges. My passion lies in connecting with teens and young adults, though I enjoy working with children, too. My work is grounded in a belief that our experiences shape us, providing insights into our behaviors and motivations; I emphasize understanding the ‘why.’ Many behaviors in our lives are reinforced, but I firmly believe that everyone possesses the capability to make positive changes. The key lies in gaining the necessary skills, and this is where I can offer support. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
If you’re seeking more than just verbal communication and are eager to develop practical skills, our journey together could be transformative. Taking the time to cultivate a therapeutic relationship, my goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable exploring your own path.
A Little About Me
When I’m not at work, I find joy in creating memories with my family and French Bulldog. I love baking, especially when I get the chance to try out a new recipe. I also love exploring new places to eat. You can usually catch me with a good book or planning my next adventure to someplace new whenever I get the chance.
A Few Fun Facts
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arcadia University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Centenary University. While in graduate school, I worked at an inpatient psychiatric hospital and a partial hospitalization program. I then completed my clinical internship hours at a community mental health facility, where I continued to work for several years. Prior to working in private practice, I also worked at Bucks County Youth Center, where I was a therapist for youth offenders. I have been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Art Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality.
When we speak on the phone, we want to take the time to answer any questions you have about therapy with us. During our initial chat, we will go over policies and fees for the type and length of the sessions that fit you best.
We want you to make the most informed decision about your therapy journey.
Remember…
We invest our time, money, and energy into so many things each week: salon visits, gym memberships, personal training, dining out, and new stuff. Most people invest on visible and tangible things but neglect essentials they (and others) can’t see.
Ask yourself – are you doing everything you should be for your mental health?
We provide private therapy and counseling in our Doylestown, PA offices or secure telehealth sessions for clients who wish to stay home, avoid commuting, or even just save time.
