Gracie, Pawsitive Support Coordinator

Hi! I’m Gracie, the Pawsitive Support Coordinator at Ally Psychological Services! I’m a 5-year-old Corgipoo with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’m known around here for my enthusiastic greetings with a “woof” or two; it’s just my way of letting my mom, Emily, know someone’s arrived! After a quick sniff, I’ll be more than happy to let you pet me for as long as you like. If you’re extra lucky, I might even roll over for some tummy rubs!

I was adopted by my wonderful mom, when I was 4 years old, and I’m forever grateful to my foster mom and Home At Last Rescue for making our meeting possible. One of the best parts of my new life with my mom is not being alone anymore – I get to come to work whenever I want and run around, spreading joy and wagging my tail.

One of my favorite things about working at Ally Psych is helping people feel more at ease. It turns out that letting people give me pets and cuddles can make them feel calm, just like it does for me! Who knew being cute and friendly could have such a pawsitive impact?

  • Welcome you with a bark
  • I’ll be ready for lots of belly rubs
  • I’m adorable to look at
  • Follow you to the therapy room (if my mom lets me)

When I’m at home, I enjoy taking long walks and indulging in a variety of snacks from the ground, which my mom doesn’t seem to appreciate but I find quite tasty. I also love getting all of my energy out at night right before bed by running from room to room with some zoomies. Also…

  • My favorite snack is frozen blueberries
  • I love having races with Walnut up and down the hallway at work
  • My favorite game is hide and seek
  • I love going for car rides and getting pup cups from Rita’s
