Overnight it seems like you’re expected to know exactly what to do with your life. At some point, you transition from not needing to make life changing decisions to being out on your own. You’ve probably heard the term “adulting” – the idea of acting more responsibly and doing necessary (but sometimes boring) tasks.
Struggling to figure out credit & debt, negotiating salary, building friendships & relationships, and generally transitioning into adulthood without guidance can be confusing and cause a lot of stress and anxiety. You’ve probably said something like, “I know that I’m technically an adult, but I still don’t know what the hell I’m doing.”
Adulting usually leads to a lot of questions like, should I be buying a house? Should I change jobs? How can I get that promotion? Should I get married? No one taught you how to be an adult, but I am here to help change that through young adult therapy in Bucks County.
At Ally Psych, we want you to have a truly exceptional experience and start getting relief as soon as possible. From the first phone call to your last integration session, we focus on providing powerful experiences that lead to long-lasting changes. To do this, your specially trained Psychologist will provide a personalized therapy experience that incorporates your ketamine journey.
During your prep sessions, you’ll meet with your specially trained Ketamine Psychologist to discuss what you can look forward to, answer all of your questions, and ensure that Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is right for you.
Once it’s determined that Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is a good fit for you, you'll meet with Joyce, our in-house prescriber, to go over your medical history and ensure you're medically appropriate for KAP. Once approved, Joyce will order your script at our trusted local Pharmacy, who compounds all of the Ketamine on their premises.
Once prescribed, you’ll come back into our office for your next scheduled appointment. Under the supervision and guidance of the same KAP Psychologist you did your prep sessions with, you’ll enjoy the therapeutic benefits of your trip.
After you enjoy your experience, you’ll come back to the office for an “integration” appointment. This is where the true benefit of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy exists. Together, with your KAP Psychologist, you will process your experience from the other day and how it is relevant to your growth and goals.

Whether you’re taking Ketamine for depression, anxiety, or other behavioral concerns, the way KAP works is the same. The effects of ketamine help reduce mental barriers and open the mind to the therapeutic process (the integration). This allows you and your specially trained psychologist to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences more deeply and profoundly, leading to greater self-awareness and personal growth.
If you’re like our other clients going through KAP treatment in our Doylestown office, you’ll notice a new perspective on your concerns. You and your local KAP psychologist will work together to integrate your experience to develop a deeper understanding and lasting change.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy involves a series of sessions in a comfortable, controlled environment. During each session, you’ll receive a carefully administered dose of ketamine while engaging in psychotherapy with a trained therapist.
At Ally Psychological Services, one (1) experience for our Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy packages is 3 hours of one-on-one sessions with your Ketamine Psychologist in our Doylestown office.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy might be suitable if you’ve been struggling with mental health challenges and haven’t found relief with other treatments, whether medication or therapy. Our dedicated team of professionals is here to assess your needs and guide you through the process to ensure your questions are answered and you feel safe.
Infusion Centers do not typically provide the therapy (integration) component. They simply administer the Ketamine and check on the patient (you) intermittently. Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (what we do at Ally Psych) utilizes the expertise of a specially trained psychologist to guide you through the experience and to work with you to integrate your journey. You are 1-on-1 with your local ketamine psychologist throughout the entire experience, ensuring your safety and comfort.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy builds off of each other. The more consistent you are with the experiences and integration, the stronger and longer-lasting the effects. We recommend clients start with six (6) experiences but no less than three (3).
No. Ally Psychological Services does not prescribe medication. We provide the space for you to engage in KAP once you’ve been prescribed by our qualified partner. Your specially trained psychologist will guide you through the ketamine experience and work with you to integrate your journey. KAP is a form of therapy provided by our ketamine-trained psychologist in Doylestown.
