I have experience in serving individuals with Autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and adjustment concerns from early childhood through adulthood. I have worked in residential settings, specialized programs, and outpatient settings. Within those settings, I’ve been fortunate to have helped individuals and families identify their own strengths through highlighting positive attributes and practicing positive self-affirmations. I then support the individuals and families to channel these identified strengths and use them as positive momentum to help them pave their way to meeting their own personal goals. One of my favorite family therapists, Virginia Satir, once said, “I want you to get excited about who you are, what you are, what you have, and what can still be for you. I want to inspire you to see that you can go far beyond where you are right now.” This rings true to me as a clinician and I foster this mentality by using evidenced-based practices, positive regard, advocacy, and strategies to help you gain confidence and succeed in your journey.
