Hello! I am Alison Borden, a Licensed Professional Counselor at Ally Psychological Services. Over the past decade, I've worked all over the greater Philadelphia area in all types of settings. Since 2021, I've been at Ally Psych and I couldn't be happier to use my skills to help clients like you!

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults, in-home, school, and outpatient settings. I am an LGBTQIA+ friendly counselor and welcome the opportunity to help you make the changes you're looking for and the healing you deserve. I incorporate evidence-based practices, humor, and kindness, and I will always advocate for you in all of our work together. One of my favorite psychologists, Carl Rogers, said, "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." I think that is so true; I am here to help you accept who you are and then become the person you want to be.
